If you have an innovative idea, something you believe can make a difference or break down barriers in science, business, technology, or society, this is a great opportunity to test it and to challenge yourself
Punkt Oslo, together with Kristiania, VID, and OsloMet, is proud to launch Falling Walls Lab Oslo for the very first time. We now invite early‑career academics, PhD candidates, postdocs, and bachelor’s and master’s students from Kristiania, OsloMet, and VID to take part in this unique global competition.
Falling Walls Lab is an international pitch competition where participants share breakthrough ideas that can shape the future. Every year the initiative attracts over 2,500 applications from more than 100 countries, Across 70+ international labs
By participating in the Oslo Lab, you become part of a truly global community of innovators.

The concept is simple, as it is challenging. You have 3 minutes to present your idea and you must convince a jury that your idea can break a “wall”!
Local Falling Walls Labs take place all over the world. Each city selects one winner. All local winners are invited to Berlin for the global finale during the Falling Walls Science Summit, held from 7–9 November 2026. This is a major international event uniting researchers, investors, policymakers and innovators from across the globe
As a finalist in Berlin, you will, pitch your idea on an international stage among over 100 other innovators, join an exclusive Falling Walls programme and gain access to an extraordinary global network
Only three global winners are selected and they get to present their ideas on the main stage at the Summit on 9 November.

The Oslo Lab will take place on June 2, 2026. Participants will pitch their ideas live in front of a jury.
Each participant gets 3 minutes, no interruptions or no extra time
The jury evaluates the idea, Its impact, and how clearly it is communicated
At the end of the event, one winner will be selected to represent Norway in Berlin.
You don’t need a finished product, just a strong idea and the ability to communicate it clearly.
If you have an idea you believe in, this is your opportunity to test it, challenge yourself, and share it with others.
